This video is of Darien and I's Impact 25 project. We decided to combine our talents and interests and get 25 people involved in the process. I digitally painted 10 ink blots using the ProCreate app on the iPad. We then asked 25 people what they saw in the ink blots, some people wanted to only answer one, others wanted to answer more and some people were really interested and wanted to respond to all 10. It was really interesting to see the different things people saw in the ink blots. Especially because when I was creating the ink blots, I got an idea in my head of what they would be interpreted as and was nervous that everyone would only see exactly what I saw. Listening to the variety of responses was really exciting and interesting to see how people perceived the same things differently (and similarly in some cases). We decided to record the responses for a few different reasons. One being that Darien's background is in film and he really enjoyed working in this medium. Another was that it was a great way to capture people's true responses without having to reiterate them in our own words. The project was a really fun way to work with a lot of different people and I really enjoyed the experience.
