This is the outcome of my stop motion project. I used cut out shapes and a floral patterned sweatshirt to create this gif. It was really difficult to find a way to prop up the camera and get even lighting. This was something that I didn't really consider when planning out the project, I assumed this would be an easy part. However, since I chose to use 2 dimensional shapes I didn't realize I would need to have to camera directly above the background which was challenging because I couldn't get a sturdy angle without a dark shadow on half the image. Planning and doing this assignment was really enjoyable. Though, another difficult aspect during the process was that when moving shapes, some unintentionally get moved and it was difficult to get them back in as close to the same place as possible. It was really fun to see the outcome of this assignment.
I love your stop motion Jackie! Such an adorable narrative and character. I think the flowery fabric you chose really helped give the images a warm and flowing environment. To take this further, maybe you could lengthen your story and add another character that could interact with your sun, or have the sun go on a journey through the clouds.

I like how you tell a story within a short gif, and the fact you chose a floral fabrics as the background made an interesting contrast with the simple drawings in the front.
