Who's Projects I Commented On: Danielle, Sarah, Darien, Ren (2), Madison and Grace
I found it really interesting to look at everyone else's homework assignments. More particularly, the writing attached to the assignments, which gave a good insight to the ideas and processes that went into creating works. I didn't have suggestions for every work I viewed to take them further as I felt a lot of them were completed works that explored the topic in an interesting and thorough way. It was great to see the different approaches everyone took as they were so different from one another and really give an insight to individual interests. Sarah's lesson plan combining charcoal figure drawing and stop motion animation was particularly my favorite thing to have discovered through this assignment. I tend to make lesson plans for a younger audience as I am more drawn to working with elementary aged students and have more experience doing so. Sarah's lesson plan was made for 12th graders, so I really feel like I learned something from reading this idea and seeing how stop motion could be used with older students.
