For this assignment I decided to make a piece of jewelry. When playing around on tinkercad with no real plan, I felt like it was a little overwhelming. It had a lot of different components to explore and I felt like I would never be able to grasp it enough to create something printable. However, when I set the limitations to something like jewelry, I felt the program was much less intimidating and I could navigate it much easier than before. I think this was really just a mindset of having no plan and clicking random buttons and then having a set goal and working toward it. Working toward a goal gave me limitations to work in and still be able to explore. I don't fully understand how this would translate to a printed object, like in terms of size and connection of different pieces to one another and flexibility. I am interested to see if anyone prints out their images and if so what problems they face (or don't face) when doing so.
